We will meet one day…

Surely, one day we’ll meet
Maybe on the edge of the lake
We’ll look deep into each other’s eyes.

Like two strangers from afar
Maybe a bit cold from the outside
But inside
Full of love and warmth
That would fill all the galaxies.

We will feel
How much we missed us
Maybe a few drops in our eyes
That will not dare to flow down
From our cheeks.

“Damn it, why so late” we will ask ourselves
At the same time, we’ll have a bitter smile
In our face
About the past
Which was wasted alone…

Remembering,
We will remember
All the books, poems we’ve read
How we looked at the stars
With staring eyes in the deep nights.

Nights without sleep
But with hope
That we’ll meet
One day here
Exactly here…
